Hyper-Pigmentation
Dark spots on the skin are medically referred to as pigmentation.
Pigmentation is generally a harmless condition in which patches of skin become darker than the surrounding skin.
The change in skin color is due to an excessive accumulation of melanin, the brown pigment in the skin.
Causes of this skin condition may include:
- Excessive sun exposure
- Skin trauma
- Side effects of certain medications
- Pregnancy
- Birth control pills

For noticeable and rapid results in treating pigmentation
- After achieving results, continue to apply the products preventatively two to three times a week. On other days, you can use anti-aging and skin renewal products.
- Consistently and daily use a sunscreen product such as BLOCK 50.
- The Brightening series is based on a variety of products, forming a complete and synergistic treatment. Using only part of the series may prolong treatment duration and/or prevent desired results.
- Follow the step-by-step order of use for all products.
To achieve perfect results, ask your cosmetician to combine the use of these products with a treatment plan at the clinic.
